Barcelona, Spain – February 18, 2009 – (Mobile World Congress) Expert System, leading provider of semantic software that searches, discovers, classifies and interprets unstructured text information, today announces its COGITO® Answers mobile customer self-help solution has won the Global Mobile Award for the category of Best Billing or Customer Care Solution.  The Global Mobile Awards now in their 14th year, are the premier honor for mobile communications products and services around the world. 

COGITO Answers is a semantic search platform, leveraging a mobile natural language interface, which allows users to ask questions about their mobile handset products, service or applications through a mobile browser application in a self-help environment.  The result is immediate, accurate and personalized answers.  COGITO Answers is proven to deflect Call Center help calls and increase customer satisfaction automatically.

The GSMA’s judging panels reviewed more than 450 submissions to select 80 finalists in 16 categories.  The judges collectively agreed COGITO Answers is “a major, smart, automated step forward in how to help users to get information – an excellent way of providing phone help.”  The awards are in association with the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the largest and most recognizable mobile industry event. 

Expert System was one of a select few to present at the Global Mobile Awards dinner among the world’s leaders in telecommunications.

Expert System’s presentation is Thursday, February 19 at 9:00 a.m. in BS Forum Stream, Room 6.
