To select and edit the 27.000 entries of the “dizionario dei Sinonimi e dei Contrari” (thesaurus), the publishing house Rizzoli Larousse has chosen COGITO semantic platform. Relying on the Expert System linguistic technology, the analysis of the words to be processed was based on a large corpus of texts (more than 2 billion words) representing the current Italian language.
